Happy Easter!
This seems a good time to give an update on my writing and other news, including early information about my next book.
Many thanks to everyone who has read PAYING IN BLOOD over the past year, and for the positive feedback I’ve received. It’s an enormous encouragement each time someone says they enjoyed the book. If you haven’t already done so, please leave some stars on the Paying In Blood Amazon Page. They’re a big help to new authors trying to get established.Web-site, Maps & Character Lists
I’ve created a Web-site with interviews,
articles and book reviews. Several people asked for maps and character lists
too, so I’ve started
adding them to the web-site too at Maps and Character Lists.
I’d be grateful for any feedback. You can reply to this email
or use the Contact Form on the web-site.
Aspects of History
In addition, I’ve joined the on-line magazine Aspects of
History. You might like to read their introductory Interview
or follow the links on my Author Platform. Again,
I’m interested in feedback, topics for articles or other suggestions you may
have.
More Books
The second Alexander Baxby mystery will be called NAMING THE
DEAD. Arriving in Amsterdam, he hopes to
start his life anew, free from spy-master Geoffrey and the Church’s control.
However, when the body of a young Englishman is found beneath the Blue Bridge,
which links the city to the islands where immigrants live, Baxby realises
Amsterdam is not as safe as he assumed.
I'm completing a few last edits. Sharpe Books are hoping to publish NAMING THE DEAD at the end of May 2025 or early June. Not long now!
Thanks to modern cancer treatments, my health is continuing
to improve. The latest PET scan results were positive again. All my breast
cancer secondaries are shrinking 😊I’ve started the third Alexander Baxby
mystery, and hope to be able to write more stories in the future.
